He's around 8.5 inches (close to 22 cm) tall and has been made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. They've been painted to look slightly aged. Santa carries a spun cotton snowman, who wears a bow tie made from silk sari scraps and is lightly dusted with German glass glitter (along with the spun cotton candy cane and bottle brush tree). Santa's belt buckle is covered in gold German glass glitter and his beard and suit have been needle felted.
Santa is ready to ship! He'll arrive in a gift box with acid free tissue paper and tissue paper shreds (so safe for storage for years to come, or ready to give as a gift!).
