This vintage style, fluffy sheep scene would make a sweet addition to your spring decor. These little ones are the tiniest sheep I've ever made!
The ornament's around 12 cms wide/10 cm high to the top of the silver cap. It's half of a vintage style paper mache egg; a pretty green floral print adorns the inside. Mustard yellow pom pom trim lines the opening and the outside has been painted light blue.
The tiny sheeps' fluffiness has been needle felted from two different pretty shades of pink wool. The rest of their bodies are spun cotton (spun cotton is a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated). The grassy mound is also felted.
A few tiny, light blue spun cotton mushrooms also dot the mound. The diorama hangs from yellow ribbon.
