They're both around 3 inches (7 cm) tall and are made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is molded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. They have pink cheeks - one wears a light olive colour bow tie, and the other wears pretty pink trim with felt leaves to her side. Their legs are made from vintage pipe cleaners, and they dangle from thread, ready for hanging.
