He's around 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall and is made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. He sits on green wool grass in half of a cracked, pink, paper mache egg. He has rosy cheeks, wears an olive green bow, and sits snug behind two eggs and a tiny German paper die-cut butterfly. He dangles from thread, ready to hang with your own spring decor!
