This ornament is around 4 inches (11 cm) tall, to the tip of its stem. The paper mache diorama has been shaped into a pumpkin with cotton, then painted. The inside is very dark blue and covered in black German glass glitter for a bit of twinkle. The girls and black cat are made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded into shapes which are then painted and decorated.
