FAQ

When will my order arrive? I'm typically ship once a week (usually Saturdays). When your order will arrive is dependent on the method of delivery your item is shipped; this is stated in each listing (and at checkout). You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your item has been shipped; the tracking number will also be included, if applicable. Please allow additional time for the postal service and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can find more info about shipping here.

Do you have a newsletter? I do! If you'd like to receive 15% off your first purchase, get the first heads up on most new ornaments, exclusive discounts, and take part in occasional giveaways, just sign up here . *Please be sure to check your junk folder for the confirmation email (that will arrive after signing up), if you do not see it in your inbox. Unfortunately you will not receive my newsletters without this confirmation (or you can contact me and I can manually approve it for you). Once you receive a Welcome email with your discount you should be good to go!

What is spun cotton? Spun cotton is a technique that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is molded around wire, into shapes which are then painted and decorated. It's difficult to find much step by step information about this technique, so after lots of experimenting I've found a technique that works for me (as is probably the case with most spun cotton artists!).

Read more about it here from the German Christmas Museum.

Do you take custom orders? I'm sorry, I'm not taking custom orders at this time. Thank you for your understanding!

How do I care for my new ornament/sculpture? Each spun cotton creation has been lightly sealed, however, because they're delicate in nature, they still need to be treated with much care. Many arrive in a gift box (this will be stated in the listing), nestled in acid free tissue paper and/or tissue shreds (so safe to keep in storage for years). Keep away from water and heat.

With needle felted work, resist the urge to pull on stray pieces of wool. Instead trim with a pair of scissors. Easy peasy!

My creations have been made with adults and/or collectors in mind, therefore not safe to be given as toys or gifts to the wee ones in your life (14 years and up only, please).

Have a question that hasn't been addressed above? No worries, just contact me  and I'll see what I can do. :)
