He's 3.5 inches tall (9 cm) and is made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is molded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. He's painted to look slightly aged, with a vintage feel, and has pink cheeks. He wears an olive green bow tie made from silk sari scraps and dangles from thread, ready for hanging.
