This charming little guy would make the perfect addition to your spring (even Christmas!) decor, but is cute enough to be left out all year long! I couldn't resist making him after seeing one of the flocks of sheep in our village, on our daily walk.
He's around 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) tall and is made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. He has been painted beige and black, and looks slightly aged for a vintage feel. He has pink cheeks and wears a turquoise bow tie made from sari silk scraps.
