He's a little over 3 inches (8 cm) tall and is made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire into shapes which are then painted and decorated. He sits on green wool "grass" in half of a cracked egg, also made from spun cotton. He has rosy cheeks, wears a blue bow tie, and sits next to a light lilac bottle brush tree and tiny paper die-cut butterfly from Germany. He dangles from thread, ready to hang with your own spring decor!
