This ornament is close to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. The diorama ball has been painted and dusted with snowy German glass glitter (and gold around the opening); it has a vintage style silver ornament cap. The inside is a pretty turquoise blue, also dusted with glass glitter. The snowman (and tiny red mushrooms) is made from spun cotton, a tradition that began in 19th century Germany, where cotton is moulded around wire, into shapes which are then painted and decorated.
